Materials Handler / Warehouse


 

Waters are looking for a Materials Handler to join the busy and friendly team at Wilmslow!

Working with the Production and Manufacturing teams this is a pivitol role and requires and dedicated, detail orientated and enthusiastic team player to handle materials receipts and ensure they are processed effectively using SAP.

As a Materials Handler you will be working within a busy and efficiently organised department on site in the state-of-the-art facilities at Wilmslow. Some of your responsibilities:

  • Timely receipt and processing of all materials receiving at goods receiving or from internal sources using SAP and Catamaran scanning.
  • Safe and coordinated storage of all materials using FIFO principles to ensure integrity of materials at all times.
  • Timely processing of all Goods Issues to internal and external customers ensuring FIFO principles and transactions are completed at all times using SAP.
  • Maintaining accurate picking/put away of materials to aid Cycle Counting and assist with stock audits where applicable.
  • Carrying out the activities as defined in the Company’s Quality System.
  • Participating in the ongoing improvement of the systems used within the department.

To be successful you will:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSE’s grade C / 4 or above
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial
  • FLT experience (Forklift Truck Licence, if this has expired we will refresh)
  • Basic IT skills
  • SAP experience beneficial
