Temporary System Administrator I Approx. 6 month assignment to 29/2/2024 I £12.69 per hour (Scale F) | 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) I Based at County Hall/hybrid
We are looking to recruit a System Administrator to join the Data Services team in Digital Services. This is a varied and interesting role providing support to users across NCC and partner organisations as well as supporting the technical specialists in the team. You will be well organised, comfortable using digital systems, have a good understanding of the importance of quality data and keen to give excellent customer service.
Data Services team provides the following:
- Geospatial Information Service, providing information that identifies the geographic location and characteristics of natural or constructed features
- an enterprise data warehouse provisioning data for analysis across the authority
- support to Microsoft Power BI to encourage best use of the business intelligence software
We need a System Administrator to help with
- Monitoring, triage and allocation of customer inquiries
- Monitoring and co-ordinating software licence allocation
- Updating team operational procedures
- Following processes to publish data sets derived from central authorities, such as Ordnance Survey
