The Three Crowns in Chagford is searching for an enthusiatic person for the post of Housekeeping Assistant.
Chagford is a small, rural town on the edge of Dartmoor and is approximately 20 minutes drive from Okehampton and 30 minutes drive from either Exeter or Newton Abbot. Public transport links are limited so applicants must please check that they can easily travel to us before applying.
The Three Crowns is a multi-award winning country inn with 21 bedrooms and a busy bar/restaurant operation. The site is currently shortlisted for the Best Pub with Rooms for this year’s Great British Pub Awards. The Three Crowns serves food all day including breakfast, lunches and evening meals.
The Role
You will be required to deliver a timely, effective and professional housekeeping service to all ensuite rooms and the public areas of the pub and restaurant while ensuring high service and standards in order to exceed customer expectations and create the very best first impression.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard in order to exceed customer and owner expectations.
- Ensuring all ensuite rooms have appropriate linen and provisions prior to guests arriving.
- Assisting in the deep cleaning of accommodation and the pub as and when required

Salary: £10.75 per hour
